Annie-Eve Dumontier is a really good friend of mine, from Montreal, and a photographer that admire. She has such a delicate way of seeing. Her work is like a grandmother’s cherished crocheted handkerchief. I believe that it  is her background in painting that permits her to understand light and compose so romantically. There is a lot of beautiful work on her site and blog, take the time to browse.

She does lovely, calm, reflective, composed and settled work. Another photographer that I wish I could match!

I don’t know how long you have had the list of photographers on the right, but I have only just noticed it – wonderful! – thanks so much for putting that there.

Thanks for posting this Aislinn. I really love Annie-Ève’s work, as Adam said … peaceful is the perfect word to describe it.
