I think Paris has the most beautiful light for a city and I think George might agree on that with me. In 1952, George S. Zimbel did an extended series on Paris and the nuances of daily life.

I have the privilege of having a print of the shot above, Young Man & Woman, Paris 1952 in my living room.

Seeing the print on screen is one thing but the printed version is a whole other thing. The paper, Agfa I believe, is a wonderful texture and the way George manipulates it makes for an incredibly fine print.
