Kate Kirkwood is a very smart and witty photographer. I grew up on a farm myself, so seeing her attention to detail is really fascinating – I think that’s a red Angus cow, but correct me if I’m wrong. I really, really like this series. Anything can be interesting, right? Right, even the backs of farm animals. This is such an interesting take on a subject that has been widely photographed.

Thats interesting … up until I read your text and looked up close at this shot, I was sure it was some sort of dirt hill or something. Seeing her work makes me want to spend a year on a farm with my camera, away from it all.
